Feature — Inventory

Every size, every fabric, every unit — tracked, not guessed.

See live availability filtered by size and condition, tag each outfit for scan-in/scan-out, and stop losing a sale because nobody knew a Medium was free.

Size Matrix

Stock, sliced by the attributes that actually matter.

A boutique doesn't just have '40 lehengas' — it has specific sizes, colours and fabrics, each with its own availability. CustHive models it that way.

Size-level availability

Filter live stock by size instantly — no walking the rack or calling another branch to check what's free.

Fabric & colour attributes

Every SKU carries fabric, colour and category tags, so search and filters work the way your staff already think about stock.

Condition grading

New, lightly worn, or needs-maintenance — condition is tracked per unit so a size match isn't offered if it's not actually ready.

Bar-Code & QR Tagging

Scan at handover. Scan at return.

Tag each outfit with a bar-code or QR code so staff confirm the exact piece — not just the category — at every step.

Tag on intake

New stock is bar-code or QR tagged as it enters the catalog — each unit gets a unique, scannable identity.

Scan at delivery

Staff scan the tag at handover to confirm it's the exact booked unit, not a similar-looking piece from the rack.

Scan at return

A return scan checks the unit back in, triggers the inspection step, and updates size-level availability instantly.

Auto re-listing

Once condition is confirmed, the unit is back in the live size matrix — no separate re-entry step.

Inventory FAQ

Common questions on size & stock tracking.

How does CustHive track sizes for lehenga and sherwani rentals?
Every garment SKU carries size, fabric, colour and condition as separate attributes. When a customer books, you filter live availability by size instantly — instead of walking the rack to check what's free in a Medium or a 40-inch chest.
Can I bar-code or QR-tag rental outfits?
Yes. Each SKU can carry a scannable tag. Staff scan at handover and at return to confirm the exact piece and condition, which also updates the lifecycle state (delivered, returned, under washing) automatically.
How is this different from a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet doesn't lock rows during simultaneous edits, so two staff can double-book the same size and colour combination without knowing. CustHive's availability check happens server-side in real time, so a conflict is rejected before it's created — not discovered later at the fitting.
Does it track condition grade, not just size?
Yes. Each unit carries a condition attribute (e.g. new, lightly worn, needs maintenance) so staff can immediately see if a specific size is available but due for a dry-clean before it can go out again.
