Why a real app, not just a mobile website
CustHive already worked in a phone's browser, but a browser tab pinned to your home screen is not the same as an app. It doesn't feel native, it doesn't sit in your app drawer, and it doesn't behave like the other apps you use every day. The CustHive Android app is a real, installable app — downloaded once from the Play Store, updated automatically, and built for quick, one-handed use at a fitting counter or on the move.
Native app vs. PWA vs. a browser bookmark
A lot of \"mobile-friendly\" rental software is really a website with a shortcut added to your home screen — sometimes dressed up as a Progressive Web App (PWA). It can look like an app icon, but under the hood it's still a browser tab, and its offline behaviour depends entirely on how well that browser caches the page.
The CustHive app is different because it's listed and installed as a native Android app through the Google Play Store — not a bookmark, and not a PWA install prompt.
